    Pacific Business Furniture was founded in Feb. 1987 out of an apartment bedroom in Irvine. The first office space was leased in Oct. 1988 in Newport Beach. Soon after, the company name was changed to Thurman Business Interiors. The first office staff was hired in Dec. 1988. In Apr. 1989, the company moved back to Irvine into larger quarters. The first salesperson was hired the same month. Soon after, an office manager was brought on board. In July 1989, TBI was incorporated. Later that year, a 2nd salesperson was hired, totaling 4 team members. We
have formed very successful alliances with numerous vendors, clients, subcontractors, and the like.  This has enabled us to flexibly adapt to the size and speed of each client's requirements, while keeping overhead costs low, and service and competitiveness high.
